Who it’s for

Meeting scheduler for med spas

Consults booked with intake and payment up front, and a front desk that stops spending its day on reschedule calls.

Where the time goes

  • A no-show consult is an empty room, a prepped provider, and zero revenue.
  • Intake collected in the lobby eats the first ten minutes of the appointment.
  • Every reschedule call ties up the desk while a walk-in waits.
  • The booking experience is the first impression, and a bare calendar link undersells the practice.

The part that runs itself

CC your scheduler

A client emails asking to move Thursday’s consult. CC your scheduler — it drafts the reply with real open times, you approve, and it sends from your own email. The desk never picks up the phone.

Booking in plain English

A prospect types "lunchtime this week" on your booking page and sees exactly the midday openings. Booking takes the visit it started in.

Rebooking that runs itself

A canceled consult offers itself to your waitlist with a first-in-line window. A dropped slot at your busiest hour refills itself.

A real scheduler underneath

Intake questions answered at booking, deposits or full payment through your own Stripe account at 0% platform fee, and reminders by email — plus SMS through your own Twilio account.

Where it fits

  • Treatment consults with a deposit at booking, so the no-show problem prices itself out.
  • Separate event types per treatment area, each with its own intake questions.
  • Waitlists on peak evening slots that fill their own cancellations.
  • A credentials-first page — certifications and before-and-after proof around the book button.

How med spas use Buildout Schedule

  1. 1

    Move intake to the booking

Treatment interest, history, referral source — asked at booking, attached to the appointment, read before the client walks in.

  2. 2

Put a deposit on the consult

Paid event types charge at booking through Stripe Checkout, and refunds follow your cancellation policy. Money settles to your own account; the platform fee is 0%.

  3. 3

Take the desk off reschedule duty

Clients move their own appointments from the link in their confirmation. Waitlists backfill cancellations. The desk handles the people in the room.

Common questions

Can we take a deposit when the consult is booked?

Yes — set a price on the event type and Stripe Checkout collects it at booking. Refunds follow the cancellation policy you choose, and Buildout Schedule takes 0%.

How does Buildout Schedule cut consult no-shows?

Three ways: a deposit at booking, reminders at 24 hours and 1 hour out, and a self-serve reschedule link in every confirmation so a conflict becomes a move instead of a no-show.

What happens to a canceled peak-hour slot?

If the event type carries a waitlist, the slot offers itself to the next person in line with a claim window. No call-down list.

Can clients fill out intake before they arrive?

Intake questions are part of the booking flow — required if you want. Answers attach to the appointment so the provider reads them before the room, not in it.

What does it cost?

Free: unlimited event types and bookings. Pro at $8 per user per month billed annually adds payments and branding. Team at $12 adds your own domain and the admin center. First 100 users per tier keep it free forever.
