Who it’s for
Meeting scheduler for consultants
Discovery calls, paid sessions, and the reschedule shuffle in between — on one system that does the assistant work without an assistant.
Where the time goes
- The "what times work for you?" thread with a new client runs four emails deep before anyone picks a slot.
- Sessions booked by email mean invoices chased by email.
- A canceled session mid-week leaves a hole your calendar cannot refill on its own.
- Clients span time zones, and somebody always does the math wrong.

A real scheduler underneath
Where it fits
- A free discovery call with intake questions, so the first conversation starts at the real problem instead of the calendar.
- Paid strategy sessions charged at booking, with refunds on cancel following your policy.
- Recurring client check-ins with buffers that protect the deep-work blocks between them.
- Proposal walkthroughs booked straight from the follow-up email.
How consultants use Buildout Schedule
- 1
Set up the funnel
Discovery call free, working session paid — two event types with their own durations, questions, and prices. The paid one charges through your own Stripe account.
- 2
Make the link do the selling
Your Rep Card puts client results and a save-my-contact button around the book button, so the link in your signature is a pitch, not a bare calendar.
- 3
Stop doing calendar admin
Clients move their own sessions by replying to the confirmation email. New-client threads get a drafted scheduling reply when you CC your scheduler.

Common questions
Can I run a free discovery call and paid sessions on the same page?
Yes. They are separate event types — the discovery call books free, the working session charges at booking through Stripe Checkout. Money settles to your own Stripe account and the platform fee is 0%.
How does it handle clients in other time zones?
The booking page shows your open slots in the attendee’s time zone, and the confirmation carries the right time for both sides. Nobody converts anything by hand.
What happens when a client cancels a paid session?
Refunds follow the cancellation policy you set on the event type. The slot opens back up, and the client can rebook themselves from the link in their email.
Does the AI ever email a client without me?
No. Scheduler drafts wait in an approval inbox until you approve, edit, or reject them. Rebooking replies only offer slots that are actually open on your calendar.
What does it cost?
Free: unlimited event types and unlimited bookings. Pro is $8 per user per month billed annually and adds payments and workflows. Team is $12. The first 100 users at each tier keep it free forever.
